Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball over a net.

Learn the rules of Pickleball and you can start playing Pickleball singles or doubles.

CONDITIONS OF USE:
- Only people with a booking and an entry code may use the courts.
- Please close the gate upon entering and leaving
- Do not let others onto the courts.
- Appropriate sports attire must be worn at all times.
- Only Pickleball can be played.
- Football and other activities are not permitted.
- Please take your rubbish with you.
- Only approved coaches may coach on these courts.
- Children under the age of 13 are to be supervised by their parent/carer/coach whilst using the courts.
BEFORE PLAYING CONSIDER:
Players should take account of the following before playing:
- The courts are cleared regularly but please check the courts and remove any debris/trip hazards.
- Do not play if you feel conditions are unsafe.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns by emailing us
- Playing during inclement weather conditions is at a players own risk.
- The courts may be slippery when it is wet and when leaves are falling
playing in icy conditions is inadvisable.
Our staff has the right to ask any person who does not have a booking, or who is misusing or misbehaving on the courts, to leave.

We have teamed up with…
We have teamed up with Dorset Pickleball Club to offer a range of pickleball sessions and coaching. Having initially met in May 2024, it was quickly apparent we could work together to develop and grow Pickleball in Bournemouth. We struck up a partnership with plans for the future and worked together to determine where and how the courts would be painted
On the installation of 4 dedicated courts at the start of June, both Bournemouth Gardens and Dorset Pickleball Club hold a variety of coached and social sessions throughout the week.
