TENNIS IN THE PARKS

How do I book floodlight courts?

Our floodlight courts are linked to our court booking system. If you wish to play at a time when the floodlights need to be on, then you will be asked to pay when you make your booking. Once you have made a booking, the lights will automatically switch on at the start of your session and off at the end. The floodlights will remain on where bookings follow each other. If you pay for use of the floodlights as part of a booking and then no longer wish to play, please note that refunds will only be issued if you cancel more than 1 hour before your booking.

How do I renew my membership?

14 days before your membership expires you will be prompted via email to renew your membership. The email will give instructions on how to renew.

I have paid twice for my membership, what do I do?

Contact us on 01202 519455 and request a refund.

What is ClubSpark?

ClubSpark is a tennis booking platform and online tennis venue management tool designed to make it easier for tennis clubs, coaches and other tennis court operators to manage their venues and courses.

Who is GoCardless?

GoCardless is the payment provider used to pay for yearly membership.

Who is Stripe?

Stripe is the payment provider used to pay for ‘one-off’ payments such as pay and play court bookings, or floodlights.

Do I need to cancel my membership if I move away?

No, your membership will automatically lapse if you chose not to renew your membership.

Can I play tennis on Christmas day?

YES! The courts are open to use 365 days a year.

How many hours can I play a day?

You can play 1 hour per day, however if the court is not in use after your time ends, you are welcome to stay on!

Can I play at more than one park site in the same day?

No, you can only play 1 hour per day at one park site. This allows all members to enjoy use of the courts.

How do I get my pin code?

Using our “Booker” app is the easiest way as the pin code pops up next to your booking. Alternatively, if you phone or book via the website, then you will receive an email with your code.

My pin code isn’t working?

First of all, be sure that you have entered the code in correctly and check the time – your pin is activated 10 minutes before your booking and expires at the end of your slot. Failing this, please phone the West Hants Club on 01202 519455 and ask for assistance.

Can I access the courts before my booking if they’re empty?

You can access the courts 10 minutes before your booking, provided the court is not in use. If you don’t have a booking but notice the court is free despite it being booked, you can contact us. Provided the booking is more than 15 minutes through, we will then free up the court.

I'm a member of tennis in the parks, can I play at the West Hants Club?

Unfortunately not. If you wish to learn more about becoming a member of the West Hants Club, you can phone us on 01202 519455 and book an appointment with someone from our membership team.

Which courts are floodlit at Winton?

Courts 1 -4 are floodlit.

Do I need to have an LTA account?

Yes, you will need to create an LTA account in order to book tennis in the park now, your club spark account won’t be active anymore.
